| Any of you guys ever done any PCB design? Looking for someone to take a fully designed circuit flow chart for a machine and translate it into a PCB schematic I can have made. |

Express PCB
Try this one out. If you design your boards to a certain size you can order 3 boards for like $80. |

Try posting in the ham radio forum under Outdoors. There are lots of people there who design circuits and will probably know who does PCB design. Thanks! |

You're welcome. I saw your thread in the ham forum and it's getting lots of responses. Well, I dunno about lots. One guy made a timer circuit, and another suggested transient voltage diodes, then interest kinda petered out. I finally found a PCB engineer in Florida who is working me up a quote for designing the circuit and laying it out on PCB. If he's stupid on price though, aint gonna happen. His conversation on the phone went directly from 555 timer circuit to microprocessor controlled timer, which is totally unnecessary. I only need timing to work within +/- 5 seconds, not +/-0.005 seconds. So, if his quote comes back with a $1k price tag, I'll be taking my schematic that I've completed over to Gateway Electronics in STL to buy a breadboard and all the parts and fab up a prototype myself for proof of concept. However, thanks for your pointing me the right direction. Better than nothing. |
