Hi I hope its ok for me to open a thread in here. I am just curious what the gun enthusiests of the U.K. Think of this man
I know how we all feel here in the states but thought it would be interesting to hear thoughts from another country.

Too early to call.....  he's not my President so I'm not really following what he's up to. So far he seems to be saying a lot but I haven't seen him actually do much.

I get the impression that there is a lot of fear about gun bans, hence the frantic buying up of AR bits and ammo. On the face of it I suppose he has done more for the gun trade in the short term than anyone else in history.

He makes me feel a bit queasy, just seems so false somehow.

What I hate much more though is the legions of people fawning over him like he's the new messiah, or saying that his god-awful book is some kind of manifesto for a better future...

"queasy" is a good word for it. Though I feel full out ill everytime I heer or see the man . We are so totaly screwed .

He's a politician, what do you expect...........?

Correct..... our beloved Home Secretary has been caught putting an expenses claim in for telly which included porn films......  Doesn't she read her receipts?????  Mind you when you are submitting them by the binbag full you don't have time....

Apparently she's pissed about it too!!!

I think obama says some very nice things but so far has done nothing that helps America or its people, I have 4 questions for him

1) where is this 1 trillion dollar stimulus package coming from.....bonds....taxes....loans...cutbacks. etc or is the fed just printing it out of thin air?

2) does he ever plan to write any laws that make the federal reserve accountable to the American public and its elected government.

3) even though he recently redefined the turn "enemy combatant" which Mr bush so feequantly used...would he ever return to the geneva convention.

4) is he going to carry on trying to police the world at the cost of the American peoples security and integrity.


sadly I suspect he will change none of the above......the proof will be in the pudding
