Been there too Another time I forgot mags Another time I forgot ear pro As a forgetful person I keep all of this stuff in my car at all times. When I pack a range bag I try to remember all of this stuff, but inevitably I will forget the staple gun or run out of staples, so I have found it is easier just to keep a second set of range accessories in the car with with. |

That might be the Benchrest Rifle Club in Wright City, MO, but don't hold me to that.

I must have about 4 staple guns now.
A few years back, I was going to meet up with some guys at a restaurant for breakfast then carpool on from there to a USPSA match. My one buddy left early and left his pistol at the house. He called me from the restaurant, so I swung by his house and picked his pistol. From then on out, I'd always go, "You got everything now, including a pistol?" |

OP what range are you at? Yeah that's the 20 bench range at benchrest, 100,200,300 (but I'm not 'qualified' for over 200 yet) I was really bummed, it was pouring but the wind was down, and there the wind is usually blowing straight at you You have to be qualified to shoot 300?

We can thank people that don't understand ballistics for that one. We have huge berms out here, but some people still manage to shoot low enough they were ricocheting rounds off the property. So now if you want to shoot 300 you have to show proficiency at it, and the same goes if you want to shoot on the 600yd range. |

Quoted: Quoted: Another time I forgot ear pro I've forgotten my hearing protection several times, but I always figure out an alternative. Typically it's fast food napkins ripped up and stuffed in my ears. It actually works surprisingly well.... I've cut plugs out of an old foam cool cup that I had laying under the seat. ![]() |

A few months back, I was working up some loads for my rifle. Got about 50 rounds made up for the next day. Drove about 30 minutes to our land, and o bet you can guess the one thing I forgot...
I had some factory PMC rounds I had fun with. My reloads were left on my bench |

That's an awesome club! I've shot their Saturday pistol match before and always admired how nice it is. Looks like they have a pretty strict set of guidelines, I wish ours was 1/2 that of STL. They have really deep pockets there. So much the gun club prez gets paid $50,000 a year. He is the only gun club prez anywhere I have heard about getting paid. Back in about 2007 or 2008, they decided to assess each member an additional $300 or maybe it was $600??? or else they wouldn't let them renew for the next year. |
