First post but I've referred to the site many a time while getting my first AR together. AR15.com has helped me spend some dough.

Now that my gun is together I've quickly recognized that my skills are the weakest part of the equation. As a result I'm looking for a class to help me get the most from my AR. I looked into one offered by Crossbreed Firearms Academy but the only courses I saw included handgun training.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Welcome to the board, if you do find a class in MO you should post a review, always helpful for others looking for a class.

Thanks for the welcome and tip about Matt Canovi. His class looks very promising.

BTW here's a few horrible pictures of my gun. It's a 16" Daniel Defense carbine upper, YHM diamond forearm, YHM front and rear flip up sights, Magpul CTR and Sun Devil lower.

I took the SLR class at APT and was pleased. I learned a lot especially how out of shape I had gotten. I have taken other classes and was disappointed. ETA at other places not APT
