Funny thing was that we used a small Casio pocket camera to do the video.

Very nice! I wish that I could have joined y'all; maybe next time. At least I got my chair fixed, and my report for work written.
i would have preferred a Star Wars theme, since it is Vader, afterall TRG |

Nice vid, seems like that upper slows the MAC down enough so that it's actually useful instead of just a hose gun......
good soundtrack too. |
True, but I like good Texas music, and that song has always reminded me of the NFA for some reason. "You hardly ever saw grandaddy down here He only came to town about twice a year He’d buy a hundred pounds of yeast and some copper line Everybody knew that he made moonshine Now the revenue man wanted grandaddy bad He headed up the holler with everything he had It’s before my time but I’ve been told..." |

Overplayed? Damn- you must be a commie or sumthin":) Welcome to my world. Alcohol, Tobacco and Firearms! |

Looks like a great time, nice video as well.
We need to set up an end of summer bash and get the Houston crew and the DFW crew together for a machine gun shoot. Now that would be a good time.......... |
Are you serious or just trolling? One of the new Zytel mags had a feed issue. This casued a few jams- the only jams of the day. |
Why would you want to SLOW IT DOWN??? I find fast is very useful-- 50 rounds into a target in under 3 seconds-- great stopping power ... but who says you have to hold the trigger down-- just do bursts... |
Maybe its just REALLY REALLY REALLY dirty from shooting a lot and never cleaning it... |
About slowing it down: My experience has been that at 1200 rounds per minute- The multiple hit probability, even in short 4-5 round bursts, is very low. 2-3 rounds of the 4-5 are in the target and they are strung across (left to rit) and up the siloquette.
The slowfire lets me put 4-5 rounds right i the center of the target. Or even 1-2 rounds. One of hte issues with any MG is managing your ammo usage. |
There's a place, you have probably never heard of it...? It's called Tiger Valley. Couple of threads on some shoots there coming up. TRG |
Will they let me ride my 4 wheeler?
That place is to big to walk everywhere:) |
As long as you promise them, "That at no point in time will TRG be allowed to operate the vehicle.", it should be cool. TRG |

20 rounds per second is pretty fast. How fast is the new upper? With a standard 9mm MAC, especially using a shoulder stock and/or suppressor, it seems to shoot fairly smooth and doesn't climb, especially compared to shooting it one-handed. You just hold it right on target. Of course, I need more range time and practice, but I didn't think it was too hard to control as-is, with a little learning... As for dumping 20rds/sec-- Just tap the trigger to control ammo dumps, oh and use 50rd mags or higher :). Does your MAC like CCI Blazer? |
I don;t beleive its wise to use aluminum cased ammo in Open bolt guns.
I have seen the results of using it in an Uzi and don't ewant to try it in my MAC |
Mine eats it just fine... Unsuppressed CCI Blazer, 32/38rd mag (forget how many was loaded, and I don't feel like counting the shots...) |
Whoa, hold on there........ In no way am I trolling. Hey I am on the MAC bandwagon right now, one because its a cheap MG and it shoots cheap blammo. I really dont wanna make you mad its just MY opinion but, the side-cocking upper, HK sights, car-15 butt-stock, HK k-grip handle, red-dot and the slow fire conversion you put on there ruined it for me. But like I said, its my opinion. Congrats on the new gun though |

No worries Rogue,
I have had excellent luck with my M10s and M11s. The side cocking uppers seem to help reliability along with functionality. The traditioanl sights SUCK ASS! My opinionbased on use and exp[erience. The traditional upper also sucks ass: Its a knuckle buster that will not allow the mounting of red dots A friend of mine has tons of trouble with his MACs. 11 & 10. The rate of fire on the M10s and 11s also cuts down on usability. They are fun bullet hoses- butI eventually got tothe point I liked being able to hit targets multiple times (my chikenwinging notwithstanding- thanks for pointing that out TRG:) ) |
No problem SC-Texas, I didnt understand the reason for "tactical" add-ons for the mac, I thought it was
a tactical enough, very small and compact. I guess if you shoot it enough it will be uncomfortable and I guess you ergo'd it out to your needs.............right on! I see M16's with all the bells and whistles on them and look at the very urban MAC-10 and always see it in its natural form. When I first saw it, it reminded me of the new HK MP7 with a car stock, which I need to get use to anyways...............Stargate SG1 on TV now use them and of course I watch it |
It doen't have the laser mounted on the butt stock rail for butt stroke aiming. It's obviously incomplete BTW SC you have not e-mailed me the music you wanted in your video from my footage, |
NICE CLEANING STAND!!!!
I don't know about you, but the only time I ever fired a stock MAC, the mag was empty before my brain could tell my finger to get off the trigger. In my case it was 30 rounds in about 2 seconds. Maybe I just had slow reflexes that day, I dunno. |
