Some freinds of mine in the 42nd FF told me there were some guys on here serious about networking.
I've been trying to get something cohesive together here in Oregon, I know you guys are out there.
Drop me a line.

But don't forget this NMS:

The Network Management Systems just seemed a bit far fetched.

OK, so I was off a bit…

So what is the 42nd FF?

Where or what is Jefferson?... is that supposed to be the state of what is now northern PRK and southern Orygun?

Washington State Militia, Washington Mountain Operations Unit, 41st Battalion, 42nd Field Force

At least, that's what I come up with from scanning both:

www.angelfire.com/wa3/1mtn/index.html

and

s7.invisionfree.com/Washington_Militia/

I think Oregon has at least one militia group...

The Southern Oregon Militia, based around Klamath Falls or something - associated with a guy named Carl F. Worden.

The Oregon Minuteman mission should be to close the Oregon-California border...

I second that!

Wow guys, thanks for the laughs.

Yes, I was referring to the National Militia Standards.  I believe in the concept of the American Minutemen and feel that something should be done to better prepare ourselves to respond to any kind of emergency in defense of the state and our homes.

And Yes, by Jefferson I refer to the proposed state between Southern Oregon and Northern Kalifornia.

Of course securing the boarder would be the first step in breaking away from the Socialists in Portland, but that's a whole different can of worms.

Everybody clear as mud now?

If they came armed, they would only be able to lob 10 rounds at a whack at ya...

I say the line needs to be drawn at Redding, but no to include Eureka.  We dont need Humboldt state involved, we already have Eugene

Well, if the hordes from Kalifronia did need to be beaten back, we should at least have the network in place to notify all willing that help is needed.

It never crossed my mind that some may confuse the State of Jefferson with the city.

I try not to venture further North than Cottage Grove. After that it's Hippy Terriory all the way to the North Pole......

I'm in Roseburg, Douglas County. According to some maps, Douglas was to be the Northen-most county in the proposed Jefferson State.

Not that Lebanon is anything to shout about, but it's by no means hippie.

Nor, for that matter, is Albany.

Check yourself, son!

You missed a good time Kythri.
We spent the weekend just east of Sweet Home.
Lots of guns, lots of rounds thrown downrange, and a whole lot of fun!

A good (AND safe) time was had by all!

I grew up in Roseburg, Woodland_Guerilla, I know all too well just what it's like there....still have family there, in fact.

I miss it, but don't miss the economy.  One does have to live where one can work.

To paraphrase one of my favorite sound-bites....

Liberals are easy, you just don't lead them as much....

Now you're talking. My schedual is pretty flexable. I'm actually working to open a bar of my own downtown.
Think any of you would come to a place called "Molôn Labé Bar & Grill"? hug.gif

To all of those in the "blue" counties: No offence intended, I know there's lot of good people up there, but the hippies are thick. No hard feelings?

I am planning "Second Amendment Wendsday" where a hunting licence, Concealed Carry Permit, NRA/GOA/JPFO membership card gets you your first drink at 1/2 price, and don't forget happy hour every Monday - Friday 5-7PM. All well drinks just $2 with draft beer $1

Hopefully I'll be open by Christmas.  C'mon down.

Let's just all move to Chiloquin and take it over. Great hunting and fishing all around. Plus they did have this cool law where all head of housholds must own and maintain a firearm and ammo for that firearm. I had to go to court there once for a speeding ticket. The Post Office was on one side of the three room building and the courthouse the other side. It's even more rural than Roseberg.
