Applied in March for CWL.
Training was a letter of NRA Pistol course from over 20 years ago. Notified today Denied on training. All I have (and ever had) is a letter stating course was completed on shooting club letter head and signed by NRA Instructor. They say I need a certificate not just a letter. I would be very surprised if I can get any better documentation from a course that old. So I figure it would be easier just to take a new course. Where around Brevard County can I take a course? Need to do it quick before other parts of application expire. I think they gave me 30 days. |

Specifically Paul Liccardo. They're some officers up from Cocoa that do a really great job. I took their course in mid-May, and received my CWP last week. It says on their website that they are filled for August/September, but you might try emailing and see if he can squeeze you in. |
