Read some of it last night, good stuff. That R22 will fly off the shelves I reckon.

Does Pete Moore ever venture out onto the t'internet or even an outdoor range ? Is he for real
Does he exist ? ? ? ?

Yes he does, in fact we know him.
Actually, he's not a bad guy

OK, R22 dealership story so far.

A few months ago I received my R22 shipment from Rhineland (a few examples). Around the same time Decade had one grey import, from an American dealer we believe (by 'we' I mean me and Rhineland).

In the weeks that followed I placed an order for a few more R22s and Decade have placed an order for a lot of R22s.

Due to the volume they ordered Rhineland are using them as the European distributers, but they haven't received any 'official' imports yet.

Some of the rifles I imported have been reviewed (I haven't seen the reviews yet) and all are sold or spoken for. I can only think that this will piss Decade off no end. I've no beef with them, it's a free market and I cannot deal in the volumes they apparently can. I just hope they can keep up with demand, and if they offer comparable trade prices I might just save the documentation hassle and get mine from them.

Maybe in the next shipment, if they are finished by the time the State Dept get their act together.

R22 UPDATE

It appears that Decade are offering them at £595 (that's around $1000)! Nearly three times the price in the States!

Shooting is expensive enough without bandits like this.

Matt

Robbing bastards
But looking on the bright side, if people are willing to wait and get them from you, then they can save themselves quite a few quid.
Unless of course you decide to go for bigger profit

That's about par for the course, I something think it is the robbing dealers that are driving shooting to extinction with their insane pricing...some dealers seem to think the exchange rate is £1.85 to the Dollar

£595 eh?  Sounds like they have decided to price it in the same ballpark as a Volquartson.

IIRC Volquartsen actions start at  around £795  - That doesn't include a stock.......Although I didn't end up paying that much for mine (stainless/carbon wrapped barrel/boyd stock)

Oh and, 6.8 is already dead.

Long live 6.5 Grendel.

Fat bob jumps on the bandwagon too late, as usual.....

Thanks for the files steven, MUCH appreciated.
