OK, R22 dealership story so far. A few months ago I received my R22 shipment from Rhineland (a few examples). Around the same time Decade had one grey import, from an American dealer we believe (by 'we' I mean me and Rhineland). In the weeks that followed I placed an order for a few more R22s and Decade have placed an order for a lot of R22s. Due to the volume they ordered Rhineland are using them as the European distributers, but they haven't received any 'official' imports yet. Some of the rifles I imported have been reviewed (I haven't seen the reviews yet) and all are sold or spoken for. I can only think that this will piss Decade off no end. I've no beef with them, it's a free market and I cannot deal in the volumes they apparently can. I just hope they can keep up with demand, and if they offer comparable trade prices I might just save the documentation hassle and get mine from them. |
That's about par for the course, I something think it is the robbing dealers that are driving shooting to extinction with their insane pricing...some dealers seem to think the exchange rate is £1.85 to the Dollar  £595 eh? Sounds like they have decided to price it in the same ballpark as a Volquartson. ANdy |
