Great idea Cutter! I'de definately like to see speed competitions, accuracy competitions, and shoot/no shoot reactive competitions.
Speed competition can develop just how you were talking, first with all the targets down wins.
However I think these types of competitions are birthed from the pistol reactive set ups we've seen. WE have the advantage of 20,30,40, 75, and 100 round magazines that change it entirely in my eyes.
I still want to see the 60 competition, 60 targets, 2 shooters, first to drop his/her 30 wins! It would be nice to see two shooters dropping steel at the same time!!!
That can as well evolve into an accuracy competition; hit all the targets with no misses, then time becomes the defining factor in the win. If you miss, your out, or have to run again!
We can also do time trials, where you try to hit as many targets in a small period of time.
Shoot/no shoot trials could be set up where each individual who is shooting has the others set up the course for them, adding no shoot targets in random places, so that when presented with the course, each person has the same amount of no shoots, but they are in different positions every time.
I'm still cutting steel, so I think we'll have enough.
