I am looking to buy an AK. Where is a good place for a cheap rifle in the DFW area? Thanks.

Market Hall gun show is next weekend. Would be a good place to start.

www.mickeysammodepot.com up I30 on this side of greenville.

you can probably find online cheaper but you can inspect there and if something wrong (like canted sights... common when you buy rebuilds) can be fixed by gunsmith there. Many guys get these with sites slightly off when they buy from internet.

I fired a hungarian amd underfolder that a guy at range bought from mickey. i really like that gun and didnt think I would like the underfold but it was stable. it was light, had light recoil and really fun. makes me want one.

one more thing... if you are driving from plano, frisco, mckinney or anywhere north of DFW... George Bush Tollway has been opened all the way to I30 and it is so easy to get there now. dont have to take 380 or drive down to 635 and then back up I30.

The North Texas Tollway Authority (NTTA) will open the Eastern Extension of the President George Bush Turnpike/Hwy190 (GBT) this afternoon. The Eastern Extension is the road that connects the GBT to I-30, so basically if you are traveling from Garland to Rockwall it will now only take minutes on the highway through this direct route. The NTTA partnered with TXDot as well as Dallas County, and the cities of Dallas, Garland, Rowlett, & Sachse to make this project happen.

You might call him first before heading all the way over there. I was just there a couple days ago, and he's really low on stock.
