Well lately i've been shooting at clark bro's in warrenton, but buying their ammunition really digs into the pockets since i've already stocked up on severao thousand rounds of winchester & wolf polymer.  Can anyone suggest a shootiing range with exception of the NRA range.  I'd like to blast 500-1000 rounds continuously without interrupting percesion shooters.

Any suggestions fellas?

There's a free National Forest range in the mountains west of Harrisonburg on Rte 33. I can't recall the name, however a search of the National Forest website would turn it up.
Private pay ranges are around, but your general desired location (Culpepper,Charlottesville, etc) would help us narrow down feasable ranges to recommend.

That's Westside Shooting Range.  Hite Hollow might be a shorter drive.

Do you have a street address/web address for NVGC?

Don't forget the stock options you have to buy yearly at NVGC.   I'd join when/if they allow FA and 50's.

Good chance to feel them out.

You're kidding right?  Has this been posted elsewhere as it's the first I've heard.

Anyone here going?

Taken from the flyer we picked up at Gander Mnt:

Take 95 toward Fredericksburg

Get off at bus. 17 east Falmouth (exit 133 going north)

Go across rt. 1 at light (rt. 17 turns right at US Rt. 1)

You are now on Rt. 212 South Continue straight to Rt. 218 east at the light

The range is now 12 miles away on Rt. 218

Go past Rt. 696

When you go past Rt.609 the range will be 2.4 miles on the right

The sign and the gate are on the right about 100 feet from the road

The sign will say "NVGC" the road is gravel

IF you get to Rt. 610 YOU HAVE WENT TOO FAR.

hope to see some of you there lets have a little BRD showing
