Can I post a want to hire here? Since a lot of north ATL IT guys troll here: Our office is at far NE Fulton Co. We're looking for at least one in-house permanent full-time development MS SQL DBA, two if we can find the right people. We're looking for upper-midlevel to senior people, generally a four-year degree in IT/CS and 5+ years of experience or comparable overall experience. We have a competitive salary program, 401(k), flex time, paid vaca, healthcare, life ins, bonus program, pretax savings accounts for child care and medical, and tuition reimbursement. The job is heavily development-oriented: designing normalized databases, stored procedures, views, UDFs, reports, data warehouses, OLAP cubes, testing, project management, maintaining data integrity, number crunching, performance tuning and lots of data integration. It's 90% development and 10% administration. A mixed background in Oracle/DB2 and MSSQL is fine but a must have is an expert handle on the fundamentals of database design, T-SQL, and the Microsoft tools to manage and develop with MSSQL server in OLTP/OLAP. The job requires excellent written and verbal communication skills in English, and the ability to work in a team with peers, users and management to complete project goals.
