It's the new Kel-Tec PLR-16 pistol.  Is it considered a SBR, AOW or pistol in Alabama?

Yep, its a pistol!  Think Beer Slayer has one.

I own a Bushmaster Carbon 15 pistol and it is legal also.

there's a long thread somewhere w/ one Keltec that went KB!  Do a search w/ Tactical and Kaboom.

It's a pistol, basically like a Keltec's ghetto-version of AR pistol similar to OA-93 series from OlyArms and other mfg.

I see no stock and we had one in TGC, so my guess is legal.

Before it blew up, did it seem decent?  Hopefully the newest generation wont have the problems that TBS had.

No stock + barrel less than 12" = always a pistol in AL as best I can tell

I live the carbine version, have about 4K rounds down range with no issues or failures...

Let me steer this thread a little...

I'm an internet search retard. So is SBR legal in AL?
I may move to AL soon.  I got a Krink kit, which I should determine whether SBR or pistol.

Thanks,

Matt.

OK, I just saw a thread below that states currently SBR not possible in AL.
If SBR is Ok'd in future, can I legally convert a Krink pistol to SBR?

If SBR's become legal, file the form with ATF and when approved, enjot. I have a V91 pistol, a hoot to shoot. AOWs are ok
