I'm looking for a reliable company out of California to buy 5 bullet buttons. I going to be selling 5  NEW COLT complete  lowers to the California market they are legally marked but I need to install the famous bullet button.  Thanks

I would expect that you are likely going to need to buy the BBs in CA as there probably is little or no market for them outside the state.  And you have a problem with buying them from a CA vendor why?  The CA Vendors who help support the efforts here as opposed to one of the losers who have given up and won't sell here?

Try riflegear.com or coldwarshooters.com.

ETA:  Oops I reread your post, Riflegear is in CA, CWS is in Texas.

I won't ask why he wants to sell stuff to the citizens of California yet he doesn't want to support a CA store selling bullet buttons...

My guess is he's wanting to avoid paying the recently escalated sales tax.  I wonder if he'll pay the sales taxes to the state when he sells the rifles.

One new lower is legal and one preban is legal. The preban model there weren't very many made with the right markings.

I live in ARIZONA and I don't know which stores sell bullet buttons. And I think California is A GREAT STATE. And since I'm out of state I don't pay sales tax.

I ordered them from a CALIFORNIA business.

Colts are banned by name. As follows:

Colt AR-15
Colt Law Enforcement 6920
Colt Match
Colt Sporter

There are three Colt models I know of that are California legal. These would be Colt OLL's there may be more.

Colt Carbine (all have holes in the sides of the receivers, holding a sear block in place that i know of) .250 receiver pins, .155 trigger group pins, marked 5.56
Colt M4 Law Enforcement 6921. .250 receiver pins. 155 trigger group pins, marked 5.56 web sear block
Colt CAR A3 HBAR ELITE 6724 .250 receiver pins (many w/screw not a push pin pivot*) .170 trigger group pins, marked .223. Holes in some receivers for sear block both large and small, and no hole web type sear block receivers.

I could round up photos of most of the differences. I'll need time.
* The pivot pin holes are .250 (that I have seen). There's a hollow threaded pin and screw which requires a screwdriver to remove the upper receiver. This can be changed to a regular push pin takedown pin by drilling a hole in the magazine fence for the takedown pin detent and spring.

edit in: All the Colt 6921 receivers I have seen are marked restricted mil. govt. le use only. It does not change their legal status.

I didn't think about the 6921 there are some deregistered receivers out there since they are NFA short barrel rifle receivers. The 6921 does say law enforcement on the receiver?

The 6921 is marked" <M4LE> Colt's law enforcement" it is not banned. Here's a photo of one:

Current market value of these lowers is $950.00 to $1,350.00 that does not include transfer fees, dros, shipping,  These are the hot ticket, but expensive and have the the restricted receiver marking.

Here is a photo of the 6920 receiver that IS BANNED:

I wasn't disagreeing just wondering if the law enforcement marking made a difference that's all.
