I've been wondering for awile if theres anyone near me,
so i'll go first, Manhattan, (stationed at riley) i'm hopin some day we can do a shoot or a meet and great or something. the michigan team does shoots pretty regular and they're a blast. |
Manhattan, but not affiliated w/ the fort. Do have two other buddies w/ ARs that got me hooked w/ a pretty nice private range. Let me know if you want to go shoot some stuff up when the weather gets better.

lol, i was hoping to find someone to shoot with this weekend, or at least hook up with and talk ars.
there is a place out of town where i can shoot, but it aint the same by myself, the fun factor is lower |

Wamego here, I've been looking around for a place to shoot, dont really want to go to Topeka.
Our shooting range is called Deep Creek ATF, because you're expected to bring the A, T, and F...

LOTP? |

Your PM's are turned off.... I've chatted with some guy from Wamego named Jake. Small world. He goes by Lord of the Pit online. I didnt think you would be him, but wonders never cease. He doesnt seem like much of a gun guy (Not opposed to them, just not into them). Figured I'd verify for sure if you were one and the same. Apparently its another Jake. I figured being Wamego has about as many people as a small apartment complex there cant be more then 2 or 3 Jakes. |

I would imagine he shoots at the range in De Soto.......... |
Yup! 2 miles away, can see entire range through my spotting scope. |

I live in partridge which would be SW of hutchinson about 20 mins. I do most of my shooting in my back yard but when i'm in Wichita i go to bullseye but haven't gone since i sold off my old AR to move up to something a little better. Nice to meet all you fellow kansans.

Lucky fucker! I've kicked around the idea of moving to De Soto just to be 5 minutes from the range...... |

I'll have to check out millcreek, I usually just cross the bridge there in desoto and go down to the river where stranger creek dumps in, been going there for about 25 years i guess. I think i heard somewhere Millcreek was not accepting any new members right now, is this true?

That would suck. |

I don't know. I just got this months newsletter, it states we've got 800 members now. I thought I heard we were capped at 750. |
The best part is that I work from home. I take a lot of afternoons off and go to the range. |

Lindsborg
But our NG armory is at Seneca/235 being remodeled while we're deployed. |
Hey, look at that! You just got added to my "Friends" list. |
West end of Shawnee also, small world. Near 435 & SM parkway actually.
You are so close I can smell you! |
I swear its not me, nust be the landfill. OK where are ya, I'd hate to find out I have a cool gun guy in my neighborhood and have not met him yet. I'm more specifically located off Elmridge on the north edge of Red Oak Hills. IM if ya want, I'd love to find someone in my neighborhood who likes something other than gardening and golf.

Well, hello neighbor! Ark City checkin' in here... |
Hey Guys. I am in Shawnee off of SMP/K7. Would not mind getting together to bust some caps on my new Leitner Wise upper. I have been driving up to St Joe to shoot at Pigeon Hill (unrestricted) on my day's off but it is gettting to be a pain in the ass.
Good to see some Kansas shooters out there. Especially close to Shawnee. Take Care, T |

Always cool to see a close neighbor. |
