This is a recent article in the Indy Star which coincided to be ran during last weekend's INDY 1500 gunshow.  Please, if you have time, write a letter to let them know how biased and bullshit this article really is, and maybe you can add some insight of your own being residents of IL.

Me and the other fellow Hoosiers here would really appreciate it...maybe if enough people respond negatively about the article their stance will be changed in a future article.
