Eastern Washington's country stations are much better than our token FM "country" station on the West side as well.

Yah, KISW turned into the suck. Seattles Best Rock no more.

I always catch The Eagle when I am not "on the coast". They play some cool live stuf you don't hear around here.

How come Eastern WA gets the best radio stations?

Because we live in Gods Country over here.  We know what we like.

Man, I miss the 80s.  I graduated highschool in '85 and music just hasn't been the same since.  Pretty much only listen to country now - either 99.5 out of Colfax or 96.1 from Spokane.

There is some shit I dont like (chamber), but Bluegrass is my secret musical crack.

After dealing with teh suck in terms of radio stations in Seattle, between Seattle, Portland and Spokane, I got an iPod.  I put every one of my CDs on it, and now I listen to that on the road instead.  No commercials, not static, no hunting for ANYTHING to listen between Vantage and Moses Lake, etc.

I miss KXRX......

Eastern WA has better radio stations because the liberals get to pick the music here on the left side along with their F*&%ed-Up government!

Aw, come on don't diss the 80's.  Night Ranger's Sister Christian alone qualifies it as one of the most musically blessed decades of the 20th century.  We also had the aural pleasure of listening to the rich tones of vinyl instead of the digital coldness of cds.  Man, I feel old.

You mean the pops and hiss over the clarity??

Some of the hip-hop/R&B artists are incorporating that pop/hiss ont heir newer albums.

Class of *cough* 82 here and you're so right - we had the best music.  Try 103.7  its classic rock from the 80's out of the Tri Cities. I'm listening to Unkle Cracker right now.
