Just curious how well Indiana Multi-gun is doing despite the costs of fuel and ammo?  How has the turnout changed in the last 4 years?

Last year we were lucky to have 25 shooters per match. This year were around 35.

I havent shot a match in 2+ years but have been checking practiscore every once in a while. As mentioned above, it looks like 25-35 per match is normal now. I shot the series, up unitl a couple years ago for about 4-5 years. Having 60+ people at a match was pretty standard. I believe there were a few that were 80+.

Im not surprised with current attendance numbers based on ammo price/availability. I have even reloaded any ammo in over a year but I doubt components are any easier to come by than what they were right after the election.

Thanks for your responses.  A few years back our club dropped 3 gun due to differences and lack of communications behind the 3 gun organizers and the board, and recently we had some members ask about bringing it back and heading the program.  This time around I think we can make it work.

The proposed head of the program gave the same numbers they've seen at other clubs.  That's fine by us, since it will be easier to get up to speed with 25-35 rather than 100 people showing up.  Last time we had a noise complaint from our neighbors, but that was a large all-day match, and the organizers said any future matches would be spread across 2 days to spread the load.

@Moondog

Saw a few posts from this weekend and it appears that 3 gun is back at BORCC. Glad to see you guys were able to accommodate. I may try and get out there for a match or two next year.

Thank Cullen Cook for stepping up and heading the new program.  Despite the weather at first, there was a pretty good turnout.

I was out of town this weekend.   Sorry I missed it!  I would have come had I been able.  Glad there was a showing.
