Yeah, it brought tears to my eyes when they turned the Peralta trail into a just another housing development.

Yeah. I used to carry my rifle when hiking that trail because it was so off the beaten path. Then a buddy and I went out there a few years ago and it was like a God Damned Amusement park. Dopey soccer families and shit every where. |

Almost bought one of those Peralta Trails houses-- but they jacked up the price $8k in the month I started looking AND $2k each time 6 houses sell. So I'm back around King's Ranch Road instead with a mountain view.  Mike |

LMAO! Sprawl... Heh, a run across town back in WI was 30 minutes... Out here... Wow. It's still mind-boggling-- the distances out here. Mind you I'm not complaining-- I love long drives. But when I tell people that I'm going to the next county, you wouldn't believe the reactions I get in AZ ("WHAT??! ARE YOU INSANE??!") versus in WI ("Oh, that's nice.") Mike |

Actually, i'm the second owner. The builder is "Homes by Mary" or something... They're out of WA... Yeah, never heard of 'em either but the inspectors were all surprised at how well the place was constructed. (shrug) Mike |
