I'm getting ready to move to Greenville, NC in a couple weeks and I was wondering if there are any good places to shoot. I heard about one range, but its yearly dues are $250. Anyone know any good ranges around Greenville?

Greenville Gun Club is prob. the one you are talking about, it is supposed to be super nice.
about 25min. from greenville toward clemson is the Pickens County Public Dove Field Range. very nice, about 11 or 12 benches under a nice covered area, and a seperate pistol range (5 lanes i believe). the only down side is there is a "no rapid fire" rule on the rifle range part.

Head toward Washington on ?264?. Before you get into town, there is a gunstor on the right. It has been renamed from Base Camp to something different, however, the guys there will know where you can shoot. They are also good to deal with....knowledgeable, friendly, ect...

They don't advertise it, But, they sell old bowling pins. BP's are excellent targets. I think I bought 10 for 20$ a couple of years ago and still have a few. They really last with smaller calibers. Killed a few quick w/ 45/70 and a .454.

556, try this link to see what you think about the Pitt County Wildlife Club. There are quite a few happy members of which I am one. If you have any specific questions that you'd like answered just IM me or contact any of the Board Members listed on the homepage.
