Today I had to go to the Comptel convention (telecom stuff) at the convention center at the Gaylord Texan hotel today.

I met my business partner at the registration area and we proceeded to sign in.

There was a brochure at the registration counter from a company called NTS. On the cover was this hot chick holding an automatic pistol in the classic "James Bond Chick" pose. The text said something like "When It's Time to Bring in the Big Guns"

My buddy made a comment on the hot chick and I said something like "Yeah, but she is not  using proper trigger discipline as she has her finger on the trigger. You never put your finger on the trigger until you're ready to pull it"

The lady at the desk looked up incredulously and said "Man..you can tell we're in Texas. Do you know how many people have said that today???"

I couldn't help but smile
