Here are the pics that my Wanda and I took today.

With Wanda and Wendy that give us two women who are regular shooters. Both give the guys a run for their money for sure.

On the second course we had a nifty tunnel to crawl through. Half the targets had to be engaged from inside the tunnel, the other half once you came out the end. Here is me just beginning.




Here is Wanda starting on the opposite end first. Being a lefty, she had to go the opposite direction of the righty's.

The following is an event that mere pictures cannot describe. It all started when Sam was shooting in the tunnel. To give him some "distraction", A couple of guys began pounding on top of the plywood, making a bit of a racket for Sam inside the tunnel.
When it came time for Andy to shoot in the tunnel, in the spirit of brotherly love, and to help Andy become a better shooter, Neil decided to give him a bit of a "0distraction", by firing his .45 right over the top of the tunnel while Andy was in it. Before anyone says anything, it was completely safe, as there was no way Andy could come up and be hit, and Neil's muzzle was well forward of Andy's body. Neil would not have done it had it not been 110% safe to do so.
In that spirit, and to return the favor, When Neil went to shoot the tunnel, Paul just happen to find a bottle of cold water (no idea WHERE he got it from). While Neil was shooting, Paul was gently pouring ICE COLD WATER down his back, and arms. To add to it, Matt did the same thing Neil did to Sam, only he used his full auto M4, ripping off some nice bursts every time Neil went to fire. Here are a few of the pics Wanda got of Paul and Matt giving Neil his "distractions".

Fortunately, our pastor encourages the wife and I to do it. Its only one Sunday a month, so its not too bad.

I took some 35mm pics during the shoot. When I have them developed this week I will scan them and send them to Neil for whatever posting is needed.

Great pics Hawkeye!  Great shoot this month.  I'm glad I was able to help out with the targets.  Getting down 'n' dirty was damn good fun!  Let's just hope for a little less humidity and heat next time

Man oh man was I filthy.  Best shower I have taken in a long time.  Good shoot guys.

So it wasn't just me being one of the older guys! I was sore, tired, dirty and hungry. Loads of fun though.

Who was the nutcase that designed those COF's in the mud?

Give me a day or two to get the pics up everyone. We downloaded them all to Pauls laptop at the range. But I forgot to get them on to my computer when he dropped me off. I should be picking the cd with all of them on Wednesday. Sorry for the delay. I have about 100 pics!

You bastards are merciless on "first timer fat guys" like me.  I mean, who came up with the idea of putting a fat guy like me in a TUNNEL?!?!?!  

I belive the comment was made about me in the tunnel looking like a "St. Benard going through a doggie door".

It was great fun though. It was my first time and I am HOOKED.  I apprecaite all you experienced fellers giving me all the great advice. I learned a lot, and look forward to learning more!  Thanks again!
