I'm a bit stuck here...

I know the std fixed stock FAL and the folder use a different carrier and top cover, but is the bolt the same?

Also is the bolt the same between a metric and inch (Aussie) rifle?

Thanks

The bolt is not listed on the official UK/Canadian inch/metric parts interchangeability list.

However...The DS Arms website says the bolt & carrier group will interchange (as a complete assembly), but not the extractor and firing pin...

The inch bolt won't fit in a para FAL, but another metric one from a fixed stock will.

Why not try asking these questions on falfiles.com - might get an enlightened answer there.

PM sent Mark

BTW The bolt is the same in a std FAL and a para FAL

They are however different in inch and metrics. You can use an inch carrier and bolt in a metric FAL and vice versa as a set but do not mix between carriers and bolts i.e using a metric carrier and an inch bolt is not recommended due to the slight cam differences.
