EL Chapo -head of the Sinalo Drug Cartel in Mexico has escaped from the highest security prison Mexico has. For the second time, El Chapo has walked away from his cell. The first time out the front door. Numerous guards and the warden were punished. That time he stayed on the lam for 13 years. Busted and put away this time he was in a cell for a little over a year. This time it was like Mission Impossible. The escape was tru a tunnel dug out over 30' in the ground and over a mile long from a house to his prison cell shower.
The US wanted to try and imprison El Chapo here, but the Mexican government refuses to send criminals to countries with the death penalty.
In a strongly worded statement the current Mexican President said,"I am dismayed". One has to wonder whether the worlds biggest drug dealer will be able to buy, threaten his way long enough to enjoy his new found freedom?
Will the Mexican government "allow" a super hit squad from the US to track him down and shot him like the Colombians did with Pablo Escobar?
This will be an epic search to compliment an epic El Chapo --El Escapo.

Just goes to show what a few measly million dollars will buy you.

Do you really think the Mexicans caught him on their own last time?

Given the sorry state of the president's SS protection, he could probably show up, unannounced

Report I heard yesterday is that our own DEA had known for the past several months that there were escape plans being discussed/worked on.  Supposedly his wife and kids are US citizens as well, so called anchor babies.
