Just wondering what you guys use. Been looking to get some instead of using the range's or using ear plugs when shooting outside. I'd like something as low profile as possible cause i noticed the big ones really interfere (at least for me) when shooting rifles. Thanks guys

If your young and have not trashed your ears, double up (plugs + muffs), save what hearing ya can!

ETA: These are low profile, if you stock crawl they might bother you. The price has dropped quite a bit in the last year. You can still converse with them on.

Peltor makes a great product.  +1

Be wary of foam plugs, as sound carries through behind your ear as well, not just the ear canal.

I'd get Sordins if I felt like spending a lot on ear-pro, but my Howard Leight Impact Sport electronic muffs work well.

Peltor 6S (mostly when shooting handguns).

Sometime last year I was in Walmart and picked up a pair of electronic ear plugs (forget the brand) for $20 or so.  I wasn't expecting much from them.  Turns out they worked VERY well.  I used them when firing the S&W .460 XVR for the first time and couldn't believe how much they cut the blast from that beast!  I use them all the time for shooting rifle/shotgun because they don't interfere with the stock.  I might try them the next time I go hunting.
