Defensive Concepts North Carolina will be presenting our one day Unarmed Self Defense course in a female-only format on 23 August in Forest City, NC. The course will focus on enabling the students to deal with unarmed threats they may face in society. Topics to be covered include: proper falling, returning to your feet from a downed position, defending against strikes, simple strikes, fighting from positions of disadvantage, and a variety of other subjects. The material being taught is not based in theory; it is being successfully used by countless people across the world.
