Everyone pull your dicks out of your own asses and let this thread develop in the Alaskan way. Let's be productive while we shit on eachother at least. Y'all are acting like a bunch of lower 48ers. Bottom line is Fairbanks is in the early stages of losing its shit. They're probably going to make a movie about us in 10 years. |

Costco is pretty damn empty right now. They had a big whiteboard of OOS in the back where paper goods would be.
Sportsmans was looking rough on ammo as well. Gonna be weird. Naturally 35mph winds and up to 17” of snow are forecast when I wanted to check zero. |

Wife's coworker stayed home with fever today. Call out lady got call from hospital one of her customers has tested positive. After hearing her symptoms they said come get tested. Another coworker of hers got the same call but has no symptoms. My wife had dinner with them the same day as they had the customer. This was about a week ago.
Dont care if we have it, we just dont want to spread it. Hopefully nothing. |

Guess what, you aint shit without all the rest of the army behind you, by yourself your useless and that explains your willingness to cave in. You are so adept to just let the failing government policies in place continue to let this advance and destroy economies, peoples lives and disrupt the wonderful system you love so much. I think youve all forgotten that everyone with radical ideas is berated and harassed by others, General George Washington was also a terrorist in the eyes of the british empire he arose from, think that stopped him from enacting? And how many of you in the Old drinking pubs and taverns of the 1770s would stand up to fight or just sit down and let the ruling powers at be set your fate. but you just focus on fixing my typing because thats what you do, troll. and before you jump on me about the military comment, I went to benning also way before you could have cellphone during basic. We have a 25 mile bubble prett much from Salcha to Hilltop, Two rivers and Crooked Creek rd (unless some random lives beyond those limits.) Next it will be hunker down in place Im betting.. To top it off there's chickenpox going around, our youngest had to get pulled out of daycare for it this past week. that explains alot, your a little military dependent fucktard who thinks hes badass cause your issued a rifle. That brings us to 17 from what 1 or 2 on Monday? Somehow I doubt the hospitals in state have room for more than 20-50 people in ICU for this. As far as I know FMH only has 3 negative pressure rooms in the ED, but I'm not sure about ICU capacity there. Dunleavy is going to have some hard choices to make.
Governor Mike Dunleavy I will not be holding a press briefing tonight. Today there were 7 new positive cases for COVID-19 in Anchorage (1), Fairbanks (1), Ketchikan (3), Sterling (1) and Soldotna (1). Alaskans do your part to slow the spread by staying home and practicing social distancing. Learn more at www.coronavirus.alaska.gov |

I have been told Fairbanks between Bassett and fmh has like 30 beds for this.

Crossing my fingers we won't need them, but we'll see. Someone will probably hack up a lung at Costco, Walmart, Sportsmans, or Freds and infect everyone. |

I feel kind of bad. I started the whole blowing up bridges as a joke. I didn't think anyone would take it seriously. Whoreable, relax man, either you aren't from Alaska or you are ok with burning your bridges (AHA!) with those who you may depend on later. If you haven't noticed, there aren't a lot of us (arfcomers) up here.

Mat-su reg and Ak reg have both shut down their ambulance bays and repurposed them into negative pressure rooms to triage/treat c19 patients. AK reg has actually turned the entire ED into negative pressure area. All ambulance traffic in and out of AK reg has to go through the ED main entrance. MatSu is using a side door for EMS entry exit.
Ak regional and St Elias are both screening and getting a temp check on EVERY person entering EVERY time they enter. ANMC's ER isn't as much of a cluster as usual to get into and out of with patients. Hopefully they can keep it thay way once all this dies down or maybe fix it with their future building plans. Seeing masks on the majority of staff even the desk jockeys in the ED's is the norm its amazing how many Alaska nurses go from a 4 to an 8 when the have a surgical mask on. |
