I need some computer help please.  My desktop worked fine when I last used it on the 5th.  It runs XP and dual HDs in mirrored RAID.  Now, today, it won't boot up.  I get a blue screen that says something to the effect of "F you, Eric."  I'm writing this on my laptop.

I would be greatly appreciative for any help.

Thanks,

Eric

Sounds like corrupt operating system software. Are you getting any BIOS error messages during boot-up?

if worse comes to worse, you can always boot up using a live Ubuntu install (linux, lets you run the OS off the cd) and get all your stuff off the drives.

it could be a driver update that microsoft sent out....  or it could be a defective peice of hardware......
