Help. I've been granted a couple days reprieve from work starting now, and I want to visit Chattanooga (or someplace not too far from Atlanta). Can anyone suggest anything to see/do/visit (must be family friendly).

There's also a nice footbridge that goes over the river, nice view.
Oh and the police department there has a little tank.  What's the "confederama"? I don't think we saw that, maybe they don't put that on the tourist maps they give Yankees.

The Confederama is the old name for the Battles for Chattanooga Museum. Downtown Chattanooga has alot of good places to see and eat at. The list above seems to have all the good stuff listed.

Darn, I never knew about that one.
I seriously did want to go to the Tow Truck Mueeum, but my girlfriend would not go for it. www.internationaltowingmuseum.org I think there is some train related stuff we missed also |

Thanks for the input fellas. The Aquarium was a blast, along with the other 20 million (or so it seems) people crammed into the building. A lot of MILFs, though
