There is going to be a mini F-Class shoot 12-04-11 @ 10:00 AM. We will be using NRA F-Class rules but are allowing comps and brakes. Targets will be IBS for score 100 and 200 yarders. We will shoot @ 100 and 200 yards with 15 record shots and unlimited sighters in 20 minutes at each distance.
Hope to see you there. |

That's a picture of beautiful rifle built to shoot 1000 yard F-Class open. We will only be shooting at 100 and 200 yards. A good AR or varmit rifle can be competitive. There will still be a F-TR (target rifle) and a F-Open (unlimited) class.
This is a club level event, no prize money and no trophies, just a good time shooting, learning and freezing our butts off - oh and let's not forget bragging rights. Good training right? |

These are the rigs me and my wife will be shooting. Mine is a Savage 7mm WSM for open class and hers is a Colt H-Bar Elite 5.56 for target rifle class. |

The link above posted by blackta6 is a good quick reference for classes http://usfclass.com/what_is_f-class.aspx
There will be 15 targets at 100 and 200 yards. There will be 20 minutes to put 15 round in 15 targets. There are 3 extra non scoring or sighting targets at each yardage. You can put as many rounds in those target as needed to gage wind and range within the 20 minute time limit and still engage the 15 record targets. Confused yet?

Out of curiousity, do you run the 20 minute course more than one time, or is it just one 20 minute course on that morning. I've not shot at your range, so I don't know how many shooters you get on line at one time. Guess that could make a difference?
Thanks..... |
