I live in S. GA and remember reading a post in the general discussions about a "carbine shootout" monthly somewhere in N Fla (maybe near Jax I think)that is more just for fun than competion.  Does anyone have any information on this?  I know two people that would really be interested in coming to play.

Last Sunday of each and every month. However, the Lake City range we normally use will be temporarily closed to de-lead the burms this month. So... we are trying to arrange and have this months shoot in Waldo, which is closer to Gainsville and further from you all.
