I am amazed at how easy it was for me to get it, being from VT and all. We don't have permits here so I was surprised at how easily I got one for NH. Now on to ME......

Yup, I got mine 8 days from mailing in my application.

I just sent in my non-resident renewal to them. They actually sent me a reminder! Christ, Maine doesn't even send one to their in-state holders. I get mine through the State Police, so maybe those who get it through their town departments are different.

Some cities actually have a web form you can fill out and submit.

I copied my Ma. carry license, filled out the web form, mailed it in and recieved it in a few weeks.
