Where CAN'T you CCW in Ct. I know courthouses, and there is some distance for Schools, but not sure exactly. Any help?

Possession of a firearm or weapon in or on the the real property of a school or school activity is a Class D Felony.

Thanks racer. Wasnt sure if the law was similar to the laws with drugs, where they have somthing like a 1500' exclusion zone.

Regarding Court houses, I have been told (by a marshall) that you can check your piece at the door.

Anyone ever done that? I'm curious how it's perceived.

great question! I've heard the same thing, but have never heard of a non- LEO to do this.......anyone?

I seem to recall that the checking procedure is for cops. Your CCW gun is not welcome on the property.

Please check your rights at the door. Guns to the left, speech to the right. Lets not even talk about religion.
