I ordered it on 1/3/06 by snail mail and the BWT dropped it of on 1/18/06
Here is the data sheet  here is a slideshow of the pics I have online, these are all before I cleaned the cosmo off. I believe this one was never shot after the test fire inspection, the bore was cleaned with one patch which only had dust frome storage and the op-rod has no fouling on the end. HRA Collector Grade |

Very very nice, CONGRATS, and that was a fast turn around for a collector grade, I thought they took months to get.

Guys, I have had numerous Garands, including NM models. They are definitely great rifles but the 30/06 ammo is going to be expensive from now on. I've shot matches with them, hunted with them, plinked with them. They are NOT worth the money you pay for them anymore.
The 03s and 03A3s are a better buy and will increase more in value than the Garands will in the future. I may be wrong, but I am giving my opinion from over 35 years of messing with mil surp rifles. |

$400 for my first one around 1979 or so. $120 for a CMP gun in 1981, my dad got one in 1983 for $165. Plus a few others over the years through trades. I never sold one cheaper than $650 and that was over 10 years ago. I don't have any left!
The last one I sold was a Winchester NM rifle. I'm not going to tell you how much I had in it or sold if for. But I made a lot! That was around 6 or 7 years ago.Alas, 1shott, they are all gone! |
