I have a 14.5" poly lined barrel that I bought from Guns & Shizzle. I run it with my suppressor and have had no problems with it. I have maybe 400 rounds through it. XM193, M855, BVAC reloads, and TAP all seem to work fine.

I do not have a unbiased opinion. I will say their stuff won't be on any of my rifles. |

I'm not unbiased since we sell their products. However if you are willing to take my word for it, I am impressed by the Dragon Head. It's not the best for flash reduction, it actually sucks ass on a short barreled rifle or pistol with a 10.5 inch barrel, but it does keep the muzzle down during firing. It directs some of the blast forward but not as well as the Noveske KX3 "flaming pig," but better than most brakes and compensators I've been around. It will hurt somewhat if your six feet away and don't have ear pro in the ear opposite the muzzle whereas it's tolerable with the KX3. Of course it's not really meant for that, it's a secondary feature, to keep from being so obnoxious to the shooter and those nearby. It's main job is to keep the muzzle down and it does that very well IMO. |
