Does anyone on this forum collect baseball cards or is that too old school?

I am thinking about getting a table at a decent show and trying to sell off some of my collection.  I am wondering if anyone knows of a good show.

Guns shows seem to be great places to sell baseball cards
right next to the beads, licorice and leather goods, arisoft, beanie babies, dream-catchers, picture frames and wasabi peas.

I have a bunch of comics and had thought the same. Will likely just dump them on craigslist though.

ebay or some other online market place maybe?

It may save you some overhead show costs and get you more exposure.

Sweet. That isn't too far away.  I may actually track the proprietor down personally.

I would like to clear out a closet, get some money and fill the closet up with guns and ammo.

I used to collect as well. I stopped when the companies started putting out som many different sets and subsets. Plus the prices of packs went WAY up and the number of cards per pack went WAY down.

I still collect one former player, Don Mattingly,  and watch ebay once in a while for cards of his I don't have. Although my Mattingly collection is pretty extensive now and it's getting harder to find cards of his I don't have.

I too have thought about just ditiching the rest of my cards in favor of gun stuff.

I have a collection I'd love to get rid of. It seems that when ebay started up the price of cards went down considerably. I don't even know if they're worth the time it would take to sort and list them.

I've got a fairly large collection from the mid-80's and have decided to keep them and give them to my 2 year old son when older.  They might even be worth some money again in 20 years.

my grandpa gave me some uncut sheets of baseball cards,  I should dig them out and try and frame them.     That ought to be worth something.

Those are always kinda neat to see. Take a pic or two if you find them and post it up here; I'd be interested in seeing them.

I got a bunch sitting in the closet. Might be some that are worth a few.
