For those of you close to Saginaw Mich. there is a Bakelite exhibition. "A major Bakelite collection." I'm in the plastics industry and ran into this. The complete history of Bakelite and it's inventor, Leo Hendrik Baekeland. They will have all sorts of early pieces of Bakelite and pieces from Europe and America. Thought that this would be a interisting place to go and see this. Bakelite is the first true synthetic plastic. Without Leo we wouldn't have are bakelite mags and pistol grips. "Wow, I feel like a nerd!"
