Who has been?  I have been on 20+ trips, including the big 99' storm.  LOVE it up there!

This is on my list for next year... I might be doing it alone but it'll still be fun.

I took my boat up there by myself the week prior to Labor Day. My best trip ever.

BTW, Deliverance was filmed just outside of Clayton, GA in the Chatooga Wild and Scenic River Wilderness.

You can get guides.  Tell them where you want to go, what you want to catch, etc.  I'll go there with you next summer if you can't find anyone.  All I want to go is catch a shitload of smallmouth bass and have a nice campfire.

I have lots of stuff to go up there with too.  Includin 3 cedar wood strip canoes.  I don't fish much, but I do bring my climbing gear along.  I miss the old Kekekabik/Knife lake area befor the 99' blowdown.

I have gone through the BWCA about 5 times for a week or two.  I have gone in the normal ways, through Ram and Rum lakes and Superior National Forest was the best.
