people were only rude when I had California plates on my vehicles. Otherwise I didn't think it was too bad.

Idahoans have the tendency to block all lanes of traffic because they all think every other vehicle on the road is driven by a dirty Californian. Driving slow by itself isn't rude. But when you drive slow, then speed up to prevent people from passing you, that is rude. And it leads to tailgating, which is also considered rude. Other states would have slower drivers pulling off the road to let traffic go past, not so here. Here there are no laws enforced keeping slower traffic right. And the states propaganda machine is aimed at the mythical "aggressive driver," which is a driver who knows where the hell he is going and has a desire to get there before he dies, not at the douchebags causing the irritation in the first place.
I'd agree that Idaho seems to be overrepresented in the slow assed, inconsiderate driver category. |

I hate the tailgaters that drive like its rush hour on the 101 in Cali. You ride my ass, I will go out of my way to slow you down. And if its snowing, that doesn't mean 35 mph on the highway. Can always see the newbies the first good snow. |

I didn't mean it like that, should have worded it better. On the highway I am on each day, I am not a slow poke that is causing issues. With the traffic in the rh lane being a bit slower I do favor the fast lane. When it is not possible to move over for those going over 75mph and they insist on riding my ass, that's what pisses me off. If I slowed them up a bit, too bad.

And why the hell does every car with a 2C plate on it have a tail light out? Never fails, if a car has 2 or all brake lights not working, its always a 2C plate. State sure gets nice the further from Canyon and Ada county you get. |

I hate the classic mormon road block maneuver that is so common around here. People drive the exact same speed in the left lane as the person next to them in the right lane, blocking the whole damn road.

I guess we are rude, but I hate California drivers. I usually like to smoke out California plates with my f250. Call it immature or whatever you want I just call it a nice idaho welcome gesture telling them they aren't in california anymore. Oh that and I hate when people don't lower their brights, that's why I carry my 1100 lumen streamlight with me.

"K" drivers aren't too bad.
I think most of the bitching comes from the fact that people who visit are used to everyone driving like an ass and speeding so when we Idahoans drive normal and aren't concerned with driving crazy they think we are rude. Notice that many of the states with "bad drivers" on that list were low pop states. That means all the high pop states ganged up on us for not driving like city freaks.
