Odds are that I'll buy myself a Savage MkII BTVXP (laminate thumbhole stock, heavy barrel, Accutrigger, and bundled scope) for Father's Day.

But for half the price, I could get a comb-stock, sporter-barrel, non-Accutrigger model.  Its trigger might feel more like my AR's –– plus, half the price is half the price.

Anyone in my area happen to have a MkII without Accutrigger, who might meet me at Flat Creek and let me put a few rounds through it in the next couple days?  (Both rifles are on sale, which may not run past Saturday.)
