I'm really contemplating trading out my USP and P2000SK for LEM variants.

But, it's so "weird" sounding I'd like to try before I buy.

I don't own one. If you do decide to go that route though I'd think you would just want to have the triggers swapped out rather than trade in the guns. Let me know what you do think of them though. If the USP45CT is only offered with LEM I may just have to get one. I'm pretty sure I'd rather just have v1 though.

LEM?

Don't own one, but I've shot them, and they're fantastic. If my Tactical was a carry weapon and not just a safe queen/nightstand gun, I'd have it converted. Any future HK I buy will be LEM.

Ain't got one on my Glock, why would you want one on a USP?

Because just about any trigger on any handgun that isn't Glock bypasses support for ballistic fingerprinting.

I have a buddy with one, I don't care for it but he likes it.  It has it's place I guess for some, but I would definitely try it first.

I like the trigger on my glock much better personally.

Law Enforcement Mechanism . The LEM you can pull the trigger a seconed  with out racking the slide to reset the trigger unlike the glock if you have a missfire.

Funny thing about that...  The US .mil likes the Beretta because it has that "second strike" capability.  Even so, they now train "Tap, rack, boom"...  So the whole exercise is a waste of time.  But who am I to make judgements?  Do whatcha like...

Tap, Rack, BOOM!

Glocks do not point well or have a good rear backstrap for my hands. I personally prefer the H&K line. However, the 12 pound DA trigger pull is sucking. So, I was looking for a better than Glock trigger (not hard since it is REALLY mushy) that was medium weight 4-8 pounds in DAO with a short reset. The Sig DAK and H&K LEM seem to fit the bill.

Glock supports ballistic fingerprinting. Not supporting Glock is not supporting ballistic fingerprinting, basically.

I thought about those too. But, if I did that, I'd need the can to go with it...

It has an LEM trigger (and taller sights to clear the can).

You can also get the LEM with a safety if you want a gun with a smooth trigger pull and a saftey just in case. I run a 10 lps spring from wolfsprings in my USP, works just fine.
