I have been trying to drill out the aperture on my FS2000 rear sight blade, and damned if I can get it done.

I've tried high speed, I've tried low speed, cutting oil, no cutting oil, new bit, old bid, etc.  That must be some hard steel.

Happy to pay for the service, any recommedations?  Basically drill a 3/32" hole and we are done.

Have you tried the dremel carbide burrs?
Where I buy dremel parts, they also sell diamond burrs for those special jobs.
Either of these should get the job done.

I had not considered the dremel.

AHHH, that might be the trick.

Off to the store.

The aperture on these from the factory is absurdly small for a tactical rifle.
