I have a very collectible Dalton automatic knife that has a shiny anodized finish on the aluminum handles.  After 20 years of age and light handling the anodizing is aged and has some light handling wear.   Does anyone in the Northern Atlanta or Atlanta area re-anodize knives and do a really good job?  I would prefer someone that isn't afraid to take apaort a knife, prep it, and refinish it.

Please let me know if you know anyone.

Here is the beast.  It is an original SEAL sterile knife from Dalton.  This is the first knife model Dalton made that put him on the map.  It has no identifying markings as the first 100 of the knives were made for military units and some were sold to the public as well.  This is a fairly rare one with a serrated blade.  90% of the ones I have seen have a standard blade.

You'll lose value if you refinish it.

It's possible.  I may see if they can buff it and polish the existing annodizing to make it look better.  The anodizing isnt' chipped, just has a lot of light surface scratches and looks a little dull.

I tried Jasun and he was very helpful, but it turns out they don't do anodizing.  If anyone else has any recomendations for a local place to polish or replace the anodizing, please let me know.

I'll second that.
