I know this is a Komifornia thing but still, it's very bad.

Ammo Registration and Cow Palace bills head to governor’s desk. A.B. 962 (Ammo Registration bill) and S.B. 585 (Cow Palace bill) both passed off the Senate floor by narrow margins and are now in the hands of Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger. Despite obvious issues with funding the implementation of these bills during California’s economic crisis, Worley says he is uncertain as to what the governor will decide.

We should be glad that WA doesn't have a year 'round legislative session.  Those idiots make laws just to look busy.

Don't forget that Washington's politicians like to mimic legislation passed in California in order to appear "progressive," so this may well have an impact on things up here. And the California legislature is so divorced from reality that they may well start passing laws that they have no hope of being able to fund, in order to look busy, yes–– not caring about their impact on their neighbors. After all, they're California.
