I drive through Huntsville twice a day on my way to work in Trinity. If ya'll get the chance to go to a shoot with the AR"RIGHT crew, take it. They are a great bunch of people. Mike and Mona, Paul, Pit Viper, Loy. Some of the nicest folks you will find anywhere. How the hell they ended up in Ala-damn-bama, I'll never know!

If the next range we shoot at is MG friendly, I'll bring the 1919 Browning.  I'll have to design some type of mount for it though.

Hey Dan, is mounts for the 1919 hard to come by? What is the most desireable type? I might have to make a batch if it is worth the time. What kind of finish do the mounts have? Lemmeknow.

Reading the thread short posted over in Gulf States got me to thinking (really, I actually was thinking!).

How about at the next shoot we have two competitions, 1 would be a C&R rifle shoot using standard bullseye type targets, the other a AR15, AK, FAL type shoot using human silouettes?

C&R shoot would be any C&R bolt action, open sights, not rebarreled (Damn!), handloads or surplus, held at 100 yards shooting at scoring ring type bullseye targets.  Say somehing like 10 rounds within 5 minutes.  Highest score wins.

Battle type rifle could be held at the same distance using iron sights, shooting at human silouettes.  Say 20 rounds in 5 minutes.  Highst score wins.

Anyone into this?  I would buy all the targets.
