As long as it doesnt say "ak-47" on it, or even "ak-74" , I believe its OK. As for the AMD, are you buying a complete one, or are you building one? If you are building one, make sure the reciever doesnt have the AK name on it.

Any AK in post-ban configuration and 922r compliant is legal.
