The match consisted of 2 CQB rifle stages (0-50 yards) and 2 shotgun stages this time. The pistol stage was cancelled because of safety concerns with riccochets on the steel.
BiggieNick joined up for this one, and performed well considering he was using borrowed guns and gear. He placed 20/23 in tactical scope.
Shawn (Garryowen) used the M60 and n00b cannon. Aside from the 60 locking up bad on one stage, he did well. The n00b cannon rocked on the shotgun stages.
I placed 8th/23 in tactical scope. I used my 16" Mid-length CAV-15 with CQT and Benelli M3.
The ability to switch to pump on the M3 saved my ass on the first shotgun stage. The gun is probably getting dirty to the point where it doesn't want to work with light loads, so the first round I fired short stroked. I immediately switched to pump and completed the stage with no extra hassle.
Scoring was 1 A Zone or head shot, or two hits anywhere to neuatralize for rifle. Shotgun steel had to fall, paper shotgun targets required 1 slug.
We shot the stages in this order two, one, four, three
Stage one consisted of 14 rifle targets. The shooter began in box A, and engaged two targets each in boxes A-D, boxes E and F had 3 targets a piece. Most targets on this stage had sections marked black representing hardcover.
Stage two consisted of 18 rifle targets. The shooter engaged engaged three targets in box, two targets in ports B and C, three targets in port D, and then eight target through port E at the end. Most targets on this stage had white no-shoot targets in front of them.
Stage three consisted of 10 shotgun steel and 2 paper targets. The shooter could only start with 9 shells in the shotgun regardless of class. The shooter engaged four steel from port A, two steel from ports B-D, and the two slug shots could be made whenever the shooter liked.
Stage four consisted of 12 steel plates. The shooter engaged four plates in ports A-C.
