Rapid or slow fire ?

Slow. Like I said it's the first time I've used the irons, interesting.

Off topic , but as a comparison, Gavin took a pic on his iPhone at CSR on Sunday. Someone shooting on lane 98 managed an approx 1.5" 5 shot group at 300 shot rapid.
Don't know if that was a Service or Practical optic shooter, but was a pretty impressive group ! Gavin - Got that pic ? |

Andy.
You should be able to get to 5 shot 1/2" groups with irons rested @ 25m. I still use a 3" disc to shoot at due to poor indoor range lighting...and low light does not help my tired eyes either ![]() |

Andy. I''m sure you will mate. With irons, the test is of you, not the gun as your BAR may shoot nr 1" at 100m with optic I reckon. When I shot CSR in Jan, there was a gent shooting next to me with irons @ 500m. Eff me, they were on the target. ![]() I could'nt even see the damn target with my eyes ![]() |

In fact my next AR for Csr is being build solely with irons. I found it faster to aquire the target ![]() |

41 ?
My arse. ![]() ![]() My eyes are the same. I have trouble focussing at very close up. Its the muscles that control the optic nerve...they harden with age, and slow down, so you have trouble flipping from close to distant. Wanking every day doesn,t help either. ![]() |
