I'm a woman of few words so this is gonna be difficult for me. For those of you that don't know, Tweak had what I believe was an adverse effect to a blood pressure medication back in May and attacked my youngest son and I. Unfortunately there was a gun involved to boot. It appears as tho this is not a recognized defense. The trial was this morning. Tweak changed his plea to 'guilty' to keep my son and I from being at opposite ends of the courts. He started a 4 year sentence this morning. I love him deeply and will miss him very much. If anyone wants to contact me feel free to do so. I have his cell phone for those that know the number. Or you can im me here.

Same here. |

If there is anything you need, we are here for you anytime! You have our numbers, don't hesitate to use them! |
day-am.
We're all here for you both. When can he start having visitors? Trey |
The best info I have at this moment is he will be at Grays Harbor Co. fac. in Montesano until the 'official' sentencing on tue the 17th and after that he will go to Shelton for a few months or so until they determine where else to send him.

Very sorry to hear this. Please add me to your list of available resources M, and don't be shy about asking for help at anytime. Also, if there's a way for Tweak to recieve reading materials, or whatever things that may comfort his stay, I'd really like to know about it. |
Reading materials will be his only way of holding onto his sanity/humanity there. Will know more when he gets to Shelton about how to get stuff like that to him. |
I'll look forward to that information. Thanks M. |

FYI to those that do not know, herb_e_vore is tweak's dad. It's gonna be hard for all of us who know and love Tweak.

His reasons for not going to trial are honorable but it sucks.

I know it's been said time and time again, but if you need anything, Kooter and I are here for you! Kooter can keep you busy once the weather gets better by fishing/hunting or whatever. Maybe he'll get some time for good behavior!
If you need anything call me. I'll drop what I'm doing and help in anyway I can. When you figure out what the visitation protocol is let me know. I'll stop by and see him whenever I can.

Oh fuck! Jesus...I'm so sorry 9Millie! If there is anything I can do, don't hesitate to contact me.
Four years?
I've had people try to kill me, and get less time..... Anything that could have been said to be of help is too late now, but without knowing more, I can only say I'm sorry it happened for all of you. |
From our house to yours "I am sorry" if Myself or Katie can do anything please call, you know the numbers.
Very sorry to hear this. We all make mistakes. Seems those who are willing to admit them and accept the consequences are few and far between. And our justice system knows no way to deal with them than to punish to the extreme.

9Millie..very sorry to hear this. If you have any questions about what he will face inside e-mail or IM me. I'm in Canada but prisons are basically all the same.
To those who wish to send Tweak something I offer you some advice. Communicate with 9Millie and find out what he wants or needs. He has 30 days to get belongings sent in. I'm not familiar with the Institutions where he might go but..depending on what you send him you can cause him a lot of grief. If the prison isn't nonsmoking, then tobacco will be the primary currency inside. Sending him in the maximum allowable amount will draw him unwanted attention from those who will take it from him. Don't send him brand name clothes like Nike,FUBU,Tommy Hilfiger,etc..it will get taken from him or he will have to fight to keep it. If he wants to do his time as easy as possible..he needs to stay off the "radar". The heavies will feel him out to see if he will be of any use to them. As hard as it will be you have to realize that visiting him can draw heat on him. If the dealers know he is getting visits by family..they will put pressure on him to get drugs smuggled in. So if he tells you not to come for a visit..don't. I'm not posting this to scare you but to make you aware of the possibilities. Prison is a violent dangerous place but if he keeps a level head (which I know he can) and keeps a low profile..he will be okay. Not wearing expensive or brand name clothes, having a lot of money in his canteen or a lot of tobacco if he smokes will help him. |

Thanks Striker! Very good to know and consider. (I didn't, and hadn't)
+1 I love the two of you like family. |

After just tuning into this thread and situation, I must say I am 'stunned'.
You all are on our Prayer List here. I don't know what else to say... |
You are welcome. If anyone has any questions please let me know. I can't answer any specific to Washington State Corrections policy but any general questions I'll do my best. |
9millie, Odt and I know people on "the Inside" (CO's) in Shelton and in Monte, let me know after Tuesday and I will contact them once we know where he is going.
Incredible. Try and kill a cop and get less, do something far less, with mitigating circumstances, and get far more. |
Dang.
M let me know if there's anything that Rob needs or something I can do. Double dang. |
M, just call if you need anything and know that you have an open invitation in my home. Any time.

another thought as far as sending him "things" I have just visited Maple Lane Juvi hall, and talking with them ( I know it's NOT the same, but in a way it is) they are only allowed to send out 3 letters a week on goverment funds (state purchased postage) But they are allowed to buy stamps for additional letters, so It's always nice when family/friends sends postage, or even SASTE. Just a thought. Also for his dad, IF he owes child support they will take his inmate account and apply it towards support owed even if he's only making .35 a hour. Best thing for him to do is contact DCS and have them get the paperwork rolling on freezing his account until he's out. Just a heads up!

Im very sorry to hear the rest of this. I just met you, Tweak, and the gang the other night. Everybody seems great and I was very happy how Tweak and yourself welcomed me in your house.
I guess a cake with a file in it is out. Does he like Tom Clancy books? I got a few hard backs here that he could have. |
You have my sincerest condolences, thoughts, and prayers in this travesty of justice.
If it makes me want to cry, I can only imagine the pain you're all suffering. I imagine with Rob out of the picture, if you survivors need any assistance, please let me know. I've a cheap rental (north Thurston county) that is only a weekend or two away from being inhabitable. It's not much, but you could stay there for a while by just covering the fixed costs. I'd guess that would be about a third to half of what you're paying up in T-town. If this is a need you have, please, please don't hesitate to call. |
We'll miss you, Tweak!
M, I don't really have much to offer, and I'm an insensitive bachelor, so I'm not sure what sort of emotional/sympathy/empathy I can offer, but it's there for ya. |
Hmm. Wondering if letters to the right state .gov folks would be of help.
