I just bought a Taurus Judge and the trigger seems to be very stiff I was wondering if there is any factory adjustment or do I need to take it to a smith.

By stiff, do you mean heavy? I'd say, lube it up and shoot it.
If this does not smooth it up a bit, try the Trapper, or Wolff, Spring Kits.
